Cameron is a Barbican Young Poet as well as a member of BAR. They are a Mancunian who has found themselves down south. As such, they long to feel the rain upon their face for 2/3rds of the year. Such positivity has found its way into their poetry, where they often address mental health, childhood and pop culture. As you might be able to tell from this bio, Cameron identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them/their. They have performed at Curious Festival, where they wrote a piece in Anglo Saxon and the Barbican Weekender, producing work in response to UVAs Momentum exhibition. They were also part of the team responsible for curating National Poetry Day 2014 at the Southbank Centre. Outside of poetry, they like to box and drink Pepsi. Not at the same time, obviously.
