Why People Work With Me

I combine solid boxing fundamentals with real attention to how you’re showing up. I’m interested in what’s going on beneath the surface: what stops you; what holds you back; and what you’re genuinely trying to build through training.

Over a decade of coaching experience means I know how to meet people where they are and help them go somewhere they didn’t think was possible. And I actually care about the person doing the work, not just the technique.

In 2013 I built the largest women’s boxing squad in England, just one year after women were first allowed to box at the Olympics.

I now run the first LGBTQIA+ Boxing Club in the country, through which I also work with queer refugees and asylum seekers.

What Happens

We train together regularly. I teach you proper form, build your fitness progressively, challenge you to go further than you thought you could. But I also pay attention to you and work through the fear that shows up, the self-doubt, the moments when you want to quit.

That’s where the real transformation happens. You learn to move through resistance. You discover you’re tougher than you thought. You come back week after week because it changes how you feel about yourself.
